Human Civilization Will Crumble by 2050 If We Don't Stop Climate Change Now, New Paper Claims
They're right about the 2050. Wrong about the cause.
By 2050, there will be mass starvation. At our current rate of growth, 83 million and counting, we will hit 10 billion by the date in question.
At which point, we will run out of arable land enough to grow/farm the gargantuan amount of food required to feed such a staggering amount of people.
Hence the starvation.
And a resulting 1984 type scenario is an absolute possibility. As the gulf between the haves and have nots becomes a matter of life and death.
Yet still we'll breed. Past ten; past eleven ...
At some point perhaps, they may legislate one child families; they may have no choice.
An upper and lower age limit perhaps.
Meanwhile, people will continue to starve.
And ultimately the only resolution is when the population is reduced to more manageable levels.
Ten billion. 30 years. Hope I'm around to see it.
