MORE ABDUCTION

In a way shockingly similar to the abduction of Madeline, in Nigeria, a three year old girl this time has been kidnapped by, well, men with automatic weapons actually. As she was being driven to the airport, a group of seven men surrounded the vehicle firing the weapons in the air to deter any would-be heroes.

The driver also got stabbed during the snatch.

How, the kidnappers have offered to return the child in exchange for her father, a gas/oil executive, so they are clearly after a big payout.
What is more interesting, and somewhat relieving, is this fact for it means that the liitle girl is really not any any real danger - merely a pawn in a game of extortion.

What can the father do...? He has to go - has to, how could he not?

She may not be in physical danger but the poor wee child will never recover from this ordeal. The cowards who have her should be shot.

Yikes M, what have you done to me? My answer to everything these days is...shoot em.

Fighting of the hoards, Jayney my dear - not least of which, the agents selling my house who have defrauded me. I won't use foul language in front of you, Jayne. Needless to say I'm up against it.

Oh - and I have the flu; first got it on Monday and then what I thought was it tailing off Wed, was actually it catching its breath before charging again. Struck down by the dreaded lurgy - 'cept I'm not actually struck down - I have to keep goin.

I'll be back.

Alrighty, I will, Darlin - what's the link again?

Y'know, Missy - I've never been 'tagged' before. Does it hurt?

Better now, KB - takes more than a wittle bit of flu to keep Mutters down!

Heya Jayney - I've been finding it difficult to find ANY time for myself this weather and the writing (amongst other things) is suffering.
Brisbane start of the week, Newcastle tomorrow, Brisbane again on Sunday. And on and on...
Anyway, nice to see you're still around - any life in Helium yet?
Take care, Jayney.

Well praise the lord - he lives! lol

Helium is a dull place without a dancing partner mate - I've resorted to lurking in the back lot and watching the wars - sometimes I even get my wooden spoon out and help a little :)

Only just got back from my holidays too so my blog has been a tad neglected - I intend to remedy that this weekend. Pop in to see my pictures if you get a chance - Scotland was Splendiferous :)

Look after yourself and keep in touch - we miss your cheerful mug about the place!
