THE VALENTINO EFFECT

It's of no surprise of course, that Valentino has fans all over the world - and rightly so.

What is a little surprising though, is that when asked who he would like to be if he wasn't a hugely successful movie star (and the man of many a woman's dreams...), Brad Pitt replied, "Valentino Rossi".

It seems Braddy boy's a big MotoGP fan. He has visited Rossi in his race pit several times. Lucky bastard! (Pitt, not Rossi).

(Wouldn't mind being Rossi for a few days myself...).

Being either one of them for a day would be fascinating.

Indeed it would, KB. Such a choice to be made:

Brad the studly movie star, (whose list of beauties he's banged is currently topped by the very foxy Ms Jolie). (And he seems like a pretty cool dude...).

Or the Doctor (Valentino's nickname). Whose skill on a MotoGP bike is stuff of legend and whose followers include the aforementioned movie star.

Better ask then, which would I prefer to spend an hour on? The sultry and defiant Ange or the mighty Yamaha M1.

Because lets's face it - if I'm Pitt for a day...most of it'll be spent throwing one (or two...or five), into "the wife".
She’d be a feisty bit, too, would Ange…all attitude and Amazonian. Woof!
But to be the king - of all before him, piloting the M1 like a wizard rides a dragon, the sea of yellow from the thousands of trademark yellow "46" flags and banners, the roar of the adoring fans as the machine skips and backs into the turn...then as the front wheel paws the air as the machine rockets out of the turn, leaning forward to keep it down...
This is the stuff of my dreams I think, no harm to the gorgeous Angie.

Hey Muttars! Looks like we got a non-dumbass president for once! At least he's farther from being a dumbass than frickin' McCain.
` Just thought that might be uplifting, considering he's the most powerful man in the world supposedly.

Oh yeah, and my computer's back online after a month of... not being online. Which will inevitably lead to me loading up my blogs with crazy photos of the amazing house and other things.

He certainly seems to be an improvement on Bush, that's for sure. (Mind you, Bozo the clown would be too so...).

I saw his and McCain's speeches. McCain was gracious in his defeat and Obama...? Well, I would like to believe him; I would like to believe he actually believes it too, but I fear not. You know what they say about ultimate power.

Your country's in a fuckin mess, SEE - and it's dragged the rest of the world down with it.

Big job, Barrack has...huge.

Lol! That's for sure! But if he can pull it off, that will be one of the greatest undertakings ever by an American president... or something like that.

BTW, That reminds me, I sure hope the economy perks up soon, considering that I just made the big step from living in a ghetto to living in a house in a middle-class neighborhood. Just a size comparison is amazing. I'm tired of being unemployed.

Yeah it must be nice to get a bit of space. More than most, I can appreciate that after spending 6 months living out of the back of a ute!

Re: Obama. I don't see him succeeding. Nothing against him. The real problem is the SIX BILLION people on earth behaving like trapped rats. It will only get worse, I fear.

It's late. Let's sing!

Let's sing? What, should I wear my culottes and bow tie???

My download speed is woeful so I'll have to give it a miss I'm afraid - but don't let me stop you (might want to put the cat out first, though!)
